SRL Downstream Approach Channel Deepening for Proposed New Lock 1200' x 110'

In this $7-million mechanical dredging project was completed by drilling, blasting and excavating over 80,000 CY of Jacobsville Sandstone rock for the new Lock # 4 approach channel.  Overburden on the sandstone included boulders up to 40 tons.
