St. Louis River Intake Duluth Tar Site Environemental Dredging and Underwater Capping

This project consisted of mechanically dredging contaminated material and hydraulically transporting (slurry) the sediment to a confined aqueous disposal facility (CAD).  Placed over 335,000 SF of capping sand over dredged and non dredged areas and then placed cobble or gravel over capped areas while maintaining turbidity curtain around the work area.
