Manitowoc Water Intake
This $3.6-million raw water intake features the installation of 4,000 feet of 60-inch, pre-stressed concrete cylinder pipe that is housed within a 500-foot-long sheeted trench and 3,500-foot open cut trench.
Durocher Marine connected the open waters of Lake Michigan to the on-shore raw water pump station with two, 17 ½ -foot-long, 5-foot-diameter screens and more than three-quarters of a mile long water intake pipeline.
