Ross County US 35

This project involved with widening and reconstruction of 9.1 miles of US Route 35 near Chillicothe, OH.  Over 5 million cubic yards of dirt and rock were excavated, including almost 2 million cubic yards of rock which required blasting.  Our fleet of numerous Cat 777  and 773 rock trucks as well as our Cat 627 and 637 scrapers was put to the test on this project. 

This project also included 14 new bridges and 350,000 tons of asphalt pavement, all of which was self-performed by Kokosing.
