West Virginia USR 35

This Design/Build project was a first in many ways for Kokosing.  It was our first project working for the West Virginia Department of Transportation, their first Design/Build Project, and our first project with several new equipment fleets.  Given the opportunity to excavation over 7.5 million cubic yards of dirt and rock, Kokosing invested in several Cat 777 rock trucks as well as Komatsu PC2000 excavators.  These new pieces of equipment allowed us to showcase our earthwork talents and keep the project on schedule for completion in 18 months.
