Mackinaw City Breakwaters

One of Durocher Marine’s early shore-erosion protection projects included construction of a 300 and a 600-foot-long breakwater with navigation lights in Mackinaw City, Mich. The breakwaters’ construction called for 60,000 tons of bedding, underlayer and armor stone, which included the heaviest material varying from three to eight tons in size.
