Jeffery's Place

The site development work for this 41-acre area in downtown Columbus called for Kokosing to clean up the brownfield site by removing more than 35,000 cubic yards (cy) of existing concrete and 16,000 cy of unsuitable soil.

The $7.2-million site development project also included installation of 18,000 linear feet (lf) of sanitary, storm and water sewer, more than 5,800 lf of electrical duct bank work for the local electrical utility provider and 30,000 square yards of asphalt paving, curb and street lighting for the Jeffrey Place development.

Kokosing also helped incorporate the Jeffrey Place development with the surrounding Italian Village area by performing curb, asphalt and sidewalk work on adjacent Fourth Street and First Avenue.
