Mill Creek

This project for the Cincinnati Metropolitan Sewer District includes 2 phases. Phase one is for the demolition of an existing building and the construction of a new building to house the three new fluidized bed biosolids incinerators. The installation of new fluidized air blowers and piping, purge air blowers and piping, fuel oil pumps and piping, ash slurry pumps and piping, roof spray pumps and piping, a new CEMS system and a new sand system and piping. Kokosing will also renovate the existing sludge pumps and controls, improve the HVAC system and upgrade their electrical system.  Phase two of this project begins after the completion of the startup of the new incinerators. The existing incinerators will be decommissioned and demolished. The site work includes various potable water relocations, storm drain relocations and sanitary drain relocations. Kokosing will finish with the installation of a new parking area at the site of the old furnace area.
