Antigua Subaqueous Cable Installation
Location: Antigua to Maiden Island, West Indies
Project Owner: Standford Development
Bid Amount: $4,424,029.00
Durocher Marine installed two sub-aqueous utility bundles between Antigua and Maiden Island in the West Indies. The $4,424,029.00 project required the placement of 14,000 lineal feet of cable, with each bundle containing a 4-inch high-pressure waterline and a 15 kV power cable. Durocher Marine ensured the protection of its work by installing articulated concrete Armor Flex mats over the cable bundles across an active shipping channel.
