Rocky River WWTP Improvements
The project included rehabilitation of 540 lf of the 54” overflow sewer from the WWTP head house to a large storm water aqua duct that discharged into lake Erie.
This project was very difficult due to the sewers depth, location, and lack of access. The inversion point was very shallow requiring a very high scaffold for the water inversion, the upstream end was in the head house under a floor with very limited access, the sewer had five 45 degree horizontal bends, and had to invert up grade 10 vertical feet.
