Parkersburg Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion
This $42.4-million wastewater treatment plant expansion entailed construction of an Administration Building, Grit Facility, two Aeration Tanks, two Final Clarifiers, Dewatering and Sludge Storage Buildings as well as an Effluent Pumping Station.
Along with the new construction on the project, Kokosing rehabilitated the facility’s Laboratory and Primary and Secondary Digestion Tanks and converted a dewatering system to a chemical storage and feed system.
The project’s large amount of buried process piping work called for Kokosing to install piping ranging from 4 to 48 inches in diameter.
