As one of the 200-largest equipment owners in the nation, Kokosing provides project owners with the right equipment for the job. And because we own most of it ourselves, we provide the project owner immediate start-up, more up-time, and less costly rental markups.
Kokosing’s trained staff of over 200 personnel in the Equipment Division maintains and services more than 1,300 company owned large equipment pieces. We also have a detailed support system that provides equipment and supplies on-site when needed.
Kokosing’s shop facility provides a state-of-the-art environment to maintain, repair and customize equipment, and allow us to remain on the cutting edge. When Global Positioning Systems were introduced to construction equipment, Kokosing performed test projects for manufacturers – which we’re still doing to this day. Also, we’re on the leading edge for diesel retro fitting equipment and experimenting with bio-diesel fuels.
In addition to providing our technicians 40 hours of annual equipment technology training, Equipment Division personnel go through regularly scheduled training to ensure all safety features on our equipment and machinery are working.
