The Durocher Marine Division has a long history in the installation of underwater power and communication cables throughout the US and other parts of the world. They have removed, installed and buried sub aqueous power and communication cables across the rivers, lakes and oceans throughout the western hemisphere. They recently teamed up with Nexan’s Norway to remove 7 oil-filled cables and install 3 new electric cables across Long Island Sound connecting Connecticut and New York. At the time of installation these new cables were the largest in size and capacity in the world.
