Co-op Program
The Co-op program within the Equipment Division is designed to provide you with practical maintenance and equipment management experience that will supplement your education. This work experience will allow you the opportunity to expand your knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures through hands-on 
involvement.
Daily activities will enable you to experience equipment maintenance processes first hand. Supervisors will structure your work efforts to help you learn about equipment maintenance methods while you contribute directly to the completion of a quality project. You will be given assignments in a variety of situations that allow you to develop, broaden your practical background, and explore your own interests.
To be considered for Co-op program students should be enrolled in a trade school or post-secondary technical program to include but not limited to Diesel Engine Technology, Electrical/Electronic Technology, Welding Technology, Small Engine Repair, Auto Body, Industrial Technology and Carpentry. Our employees receive 40 hours of field specific training each year. We are dedicated to providing quality training and to stay on the cutting edge of equipment development and equipment maintenance service. Our technicians approach each job with the knowledge, skills and equipment needed to complete the task.
Equipment Management
From nuts and bolts to capital expenditures, our Equipment Managers are responsible for the financial performance of our equipment. Being able to manage cost per hour to the lowest possible level and making sure our fleet composition and size match our work load are keys to a cost effective fleet. Equipment Managers are involved with all aspects of the equipment life cycle and performance to include specification, purchase and disposal. Equipment Management positions offer rewarding opportunities for growth and advancement.
Support Positions
Kokosing has a detailed support system and staff to provide our technicians, operators and our projects with the information, tools, parts and equipment needed to complete each mission.
Our support staff includes Parts Specialists, Supply Clerks, Truck Drivers, Jobsite Coordinators and Equipment Managers.
