Focus on Safety

Kokosing takes pride in promoting safety and recognizes employees who participate in safety processes. Kokosing rewards qualified employees with earned safety points that can be used to shop for company merchandise.

How the Program Works:

1. If the all the criteria is met, the employee will receive a monthly safety point valued
at approximately $10.00, which can be used to purchase various safety
award items. For qualification criteria, see below.

2. The safety points will be recorded on the employee’s check stub and a sticker
will be mailed with the check stub. The check stub will show total points available
and adjustments will be made when the rewards are redeemed.

3. A printable order form is available by clicking the link at the right. This order form can also be requested from your superintendent.

4. The items available for redemption will include:

♦ $20.00 Gift Card from Sears, Wal-Mart or Lowe’s

5. Items may be changed or discontinued based on availability.

6. Any employees not reporting an accident, injury or falsifying a safety talk or
other records are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Remember, “Safety, the Key is Me!”

 

Qualification Criteria

 ♦ An hourly employee who works a minimum of 120 hours per month.

 ♦ Attends and completes every Monday morning safety quiz.

♦  No safety violations or disciplinary actions issued to the employee.

♦  Has no medical recordable workers compensation claims.

♦  Has no general liability, auto or equipment incidents.
