I-70 Montgomery County
Widening from four to six lanes.
INSIDE THE PROJECT
This project included the widening of seven miles of I-70 in Montgomery County, Ohio, from four lanes to six lanes, removing all existing pavement and replacing it with 566,000 cubic yards of 14-inch doweled plain concrete. An additional 35,000 linear feet of barrier wall was slipformed. More than 240,000 cubic yards of concrete used on the pavement and barrier wall were produced by Kokosing from one of its Erie Strayer portable concrete plants.
Kokosing also widened all the bridges on the $62.3 million project.
