WASTEWATER Conveyance and Near-Surface Tunnel Structures

Wastewater conveyance systems can take the form of gravity sewer networks, or a combination of force main and pumping stations – with the latter often located at/near sewage treatment plant headworks. Kokosing self-performs both systems, from all typical pipe materials whether reinforced concrete, reinforced fiberglass pipe, ductile iron, or PVC and HDPE. We also construct valve vaults, lift stations, and gate systems as the final element to conveying wastewater flow to a headworks.

When it comes to large tunneled sewers, Kokosing offers near-surface support to complement any tunnel installation. Offerings include: earth retention/bracing systems and pipe supports, and construction of cast-in-place structures, not limited to: diversion and regulating chambers, drop structures, storage facilities and approach channels. The project experiences noted hereon are testaments to our capabilities.
