INSIDE THE PROJECT

The $10 million Design-Build project called for a new boulevard from Orion Road to Worthington Road while realigning Worthington Road from the Gemini Parkway extension south to Polaris Parkway.

The new boulevard accommodates projected daily traffic of 35,700 vehicles and helped alleviate traffic congestion during the morning and afternoon rush hours. The project consisted of new roadway, sidewalks, shared-use paths, traffic signals, street lighting, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, waterlines, landscaping, and necessary traffic control devices
