Water Resources Lancaster Upper Hocking WPCF Expansion

INSIDE THE PROJECT

Due to a faster-than-expected growth surge for the City of Lancaster, this 10-year-old facility underwent significant expansion efforts. As the original facility was designed to be expanded when additional capacity was warranted, Kokosing Industrial completed the following improvements:

• Expansion of the screening and dewatering building, residuals reduction facility, secondary treatment facility.

• New flow control structure including effluent channels, slide gates, screens, screw conveyors, dewatering centrifuge, pumps, tankage, blowers, chemical storage, piping and valves.

• Upgraded PLC\SCADA system upgrades with remote I/O stations, along with new fiber optic infrastructure.

WHY IT MATTERS

Originally constructed ten years prior, Kokosing Industrial was awarded this project in 2022 to expand water pollution control facility capacity due to rapid influx of new economic development to the City of Lancaster.
