Improvements comprising this facility-wide project completed by Kokosing were not limited to: a new headworks over the existing influent sewer, replacement of existing screens and grit handling equipment, raw sewage pump building gate replacement; flow diversion structure; new clarifiers and equipment; new turbo blowers; aeration equipment; new solids handling capabilities; and replacement of the Parshall flume in the storm water basin.

Delivered by Guaranteed Savings Contracting method, an aging facility undergoes a plant-wide improvement program wherein every treatment process is impacted, thereby reducing operating and maintenance costs and improving efficiency, with upgrades ranging from a new influent headworks, to replacing aging blowers, to improvements to clarifiers.
